A sumptuous Fox & Chave silk habotai scarf with a design featuring details from the painting Blumenstrauß bei einer Säule by Jan Van Huysum (1682-1749)

The title of the work translates to Bouquet of Flowers Against a Park Landscape, and is typical of the masterful depictions of riotous displays of flowers and fruit by the artist created circa 1718–1720. Currently held at the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna, this work exemplifies the artist's pioneering shift toward lighter, outdoor settings compared to traditional 17th-century Dutch still lifes.

The arrangement showcases a diverse collection of flora, including blue morning glories, auriculas, white roses, and peonies. Van Huysum achieved this microscopic detail by integrating individual studies of flowers blooming at different times of the year into a single, idealised masterpiece.
