DESIGNER'S NOTES
This 'Tartan' poshminaTM stole is inspired by the work of designer Dr Timothy Clifford, director of the National Galleries of Scotland (1984-2006). It was designed for the gallery based on the tartan of the Black Watch which is now that of the amalgamated Royal Regiment of Scotland. The tartan was registered in November 1991 in the official Scottish Register of Tartans.
The black, green and blue design is printed on a glossy satin silk with a reversible brushed silk that feels like cashmere on the other side. Each scarf is individually hand finished.
